I get that on my Peg1 too. I have it, since I upgraded to MUI4 and new Ambient... perhaps a coincidence... or not xD.

A little tips : Change the screenmode of your ambient (go to 16 bits if you're in 24), save, reboot, rechange your screenmode (return to 24 bits), save and reboot.

It works here and for my french friends, hope it'll for you too ;-)

It's releated to the bootlogo, and I think I have it since the trance update too.

I had the same thing on my Peg2. Seems to have disappeared with recent nightly builds of Ambient :-)

    @ BatteMan
    Thank You very much.
    It works!
Maybe it's damage of screenmode prefs file.

    Hi All ;)

I have been experiencing exactly the same graphic's bug last week !

After deleting / replacing the file 'envarc:sys/PublicScreen.prefs', all returns back to normal boot.

I haven't change screenmode at all.

    Have a nice 2007 year !

This blinky coloured stuff is *normal* when you boot w/o bootpic on a radeon.

What is not normal that your system boots w/o bootpic even you haven't explicitly disabled it in the radeon monitor tooltypes. That's a MUI4 bug (when you change/ make new ScreenModes it fucks up).

    regards,
    tokai
