I want to make a few buttons for a html database off a technical book.
Nothing fancy just a square box filled with color and a text in it.
Got this fxpaint lite and I am able to create squares with it and even filled.
But there is no text option in this program?
Also love the gradient filled box but it is just too much black on the end.
Where is the settings for the darkness off the gradient box?

Found the setting for setting the gradient.
Now onl to get some text in these boxes.

Text tool is hidden in brush management window. You can create a text brush and use it then for painting.

Now only to find out to change the color off the brush(textbrush).
If I change a color in the colormanager everything changes color.
Nice program btw.

After you finish with a color, press "Fix" button on the main toolbar. Then changes you've made to the working layer are fixed into the picture and working layer is cleared. Then you can change color.

Ah thanks again.
Now I can change color and select the txtbrush and see it.
But when positioned and clickes it only gives one dot instead off the textbrush.
Could that be because off light version??
Going to buy it anyway just 15 euro!

just found it.
Had to switch back to draw mode and it still was the square box selected.
