After testing the demo of Robin Hood I ordered the full-version.
    Here I have a PegI G3/600 with 256MB and a Radeon 9000.
But I run into problems when installing it.
The installer stops after extracting robinhood.info
Before starting the game I have to set the execute-flag to make the program start.
The screen becomes grey, turns black for a short while and skips back to grey where it stays.
The used diskspace of the installation is 774,7MB
    Is there still something missing?
    What's wrong with the installation?

I have installed the French version without problem.
The game size is around 950 Mo.

Just an idea: Which filesystem do you use. Robin uses long filenames. So maybe names have been stripped at copying and thus files cannot be found ?

I am using SFS, so it seems to be something different.

    Just in case...
I had the same probem with the demo.
I resolved it when I noticed that files copied on my HD had been renamed, during installation, with undercores (_) added, where the original names had blank spaces.
I had to rename then by hand, and after that everything worked...
    Maybe this helps

The first "missing" file (it was there, but just renamed) was a music file, and I didn't get any requester about it.
I found it was missing just switching to ambient screen an watching snoopdos output.
Then, after the correct rename operation I got the intro screen instead of the black one, music started and, suddenly, the program itself started asking for all other missing files (which I had to rename).

    There still two problems :

    - The intro is displayed in a half screen when overlay is enabled.
    - The game is unstable like the demo.

Do you have noticed these problems ?

(My setup : Pegasos II G4, Radeon 9250, 1 GB RAM)

I tried to install again, on different SFS-partitions.
    It's still the same.
Only 774,7MB and I have to set the execute flag for the main file.
In SnoopDOS there are missing files listed, but there are non with-/out an "_" which could be replaced to make it ongoing. More ideas?
Where are the 200MB left from the full-monster-install?
Can there be a conflict with MUI, Ambient or something else?

I managed to install it at the first attempt with standard 1.4.5 and the old (original 1.4.5) Ambient. What do you use? Any strange snoopdos messages during either install or running the game?
