Got morphos 1.4.3 installed and configured the printersettings.
Printer is a epson stylus color680 which is supported.
When Itry toprint only freezing happens.
Is this a bug in 1.4.3 or am I doing something wrong?
It used to work ok in my amiga4000 with spider and latest turboprint.
Or should I upgrade the turboprintpackage in morphos if this is possible?

For the best printing capabilities you should upgrade to MorphOS 1.4.5.

Please note that parallel.device in MorphOS CDs has been always bugged. You should install its upgrade.

Read this document for a complete list of all the existing updates to MorphOS 1.4.5.

The TurboPrint package can be upgraded. You can read this article for some information.

This printer has a usb cunnection and a parallel.
They both worked on my 4000.
Not one off them is working on my pegasos2 sadly.
I even had it set to print to file but also freezes.
About upgrading I have no acces until I have registered which will take a a month or so.
Strange as the printer is?perfectly recognized in ambients "trident"
There is no need for additional files from workbench 3.9 to get a pegasos printing?
    Like the printer.device or?printtofile.device??
Is there a?morphos original program which can print directly?
Maybe that will work for now if that will work.

The usual problem on a Pegasos (at the time of 1.4.3) was that the printer did not print at all. Maybe that problem becomes your freezing problem on a PPC Amiga, but I cannot be sure. You need help from other PPC Amiga owners who installed MorphOS.

    Have patience.

This was usual at the time of 1.4.3. The only difference is that a Pegasos did not print, while your Amiga freezes. Also remember that Poseidon was upgraded several times since the version included in 1.4.3.

    No.

No, such a program does not exist as far as I know.

However, you can install the "Studio" printer software and try it (if you own it, because this was a commercial product). People that used this 68K package reported that it works (but I presume that this is not certain with Poseidon version and broken parallel.device included in MorphOS 1.4.3).

Thanks for your answers guess I'll have to wait for the update.
    I do have a pegasos2 btw.
And the "freezing" only occurs with some programs I noticed now.
Other programs just don't print or give some kind off action.
    So that's quite normal.
Well I get more and more programs running.
    I just love this machine!
Should have bought me one a few years earlier.
But guess you people heard that one before coming from people using classic amiga's
