Is there any way to change MTU settings for an
interface when using MOSNet/ifconfig? When trying this with ifconfig I just get the
    following error message:

    ifconfig eth0 mtu 1496
    ifconfig: SIOCSIFMTU: Operation not supported

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I don't know about MOSNet, but in AmiTCP you can set MTU in db/interfaces, like this:

    via0 DEVICE=MOSSYS:Devs/Networks/via_rhinepci.device UNIT=0 MTU=1500

Thanks, but unfortunately this doesn't work - the MTU-variable doesn't seem to be recognized by MOSNet. When starting up the TCP/IP stack I just get an error message pointing to the "MTU=1496" entry in db/interfaces.
