    I have no idea from which location you downloaded staline, but its supposed to come with an AmigaGuide explaining everything. Would be weird though if someone repacks it.

    If you download the archive from my homepage (furnance > releases > tools, see my signature) you'll get a helpful amigaguide for sure.

    About the aminetradio info... thats some arexx script which sets an env variable (statline can display content of env variables). I have no details about the script though, but looks for sure interesting. Maybe its author reads here too and can post it. ;)

    regards,

    that screenshots are shot by me. As tokai said, the AmiNetRadio info is displayed by an ARexx-script, which writes all necessary infos into ENV-Variables, which could be displayed by statline. This script is executed every 5 seconds by an command called WaitX (http://www.aminet.net/package.php?package=util/cli/waitx.lha) It works for AmiNetRadio, SongPlayer and normal Audio-CDs. BTW. I use a similar script to show my network states in statline (as seen in the first shot, too).

    But what do you use to get the linux partions to show?
    Still haven't quite understood how to use waitx, or what arexx script it should run.
    don't really have any arexx EXP.

    And how do i put the env-variable into Statline, when i choose the variable from the Statline Prefs i only get "variable not found". And where in the Staline guide i can found the text about how to use the env thingie inside Statline?

    @player:

    statline.guide > FormatString (scroll down a bit, even has an example)

    of course it shows "variable no found" per default. U must put the right name between the brackets.

    e.g.: %v[USER] or %v[HOST] etc.

    You can actually score several Amiga Arexx books or the a1200/4000 Arexx guide that came with the systems
