    Hello,
If an application 'hangs' I must reboot in most cases.
It would be nice if I was able to kill that 'hanger' and no reboot :-) at all !!
    hgm :-?

Scout and all other similair application are not meant to do such a thing. And in the end scout itsself freezes.
What I mean is a KILL application as it is on UNIX and Linux. :-( :-?

    lowietje1 : it's impossible under AmigaOS / the A/Box.

ATM everything is under the A/Box (complete reimplementation & modernization of the AmigaOS API). MOS Native programs too. (native means they don't use the 68k emulator)

What you want is the Q/Box which will take years to be completed (otherwise it's impossible due to the AmigaOS legacy / limitations) - just as under OS4.

All this is connected to one of the main MOS / OS4 / AOS problems : no resource tracking. Also the fact that there's no real memory protection is the most annoying problem of the A/Box / AOS(4).
