Hey all, here's my 2 cents:
I'm running VGP2 on my Peg2 with a Radeon 7000 ATI card, and pressing keys '1' and '2' both seem to be an in-car view, pressing '3' switches between in-car / a little bit above and behind / a lot above and behind / before the car looking back. Key '4' gives the camera view.
All views seem flicker-free and doing what they should do. I also have a 9200 card lying around, which I could test.
But I also can not get any analog devices to work. I have a steering wheel and a stick, both of which I used on my Amiga with a home-made converter from 15 to 9 pins. In this converter, I also put some capacitors to take the resistance down to the proper levels.
On the Peg2 I am of course plugging them into the game port, but it does not work at all. I tried VGP2 and Descent II, in VGP2 I could get some jerky left/right movement, in Descent II nothing at all (except firing).
Is there anybody who got any analog device (analog stick, steering wheel, anything) to work on the Peg?
Or are these capacitors (which are necessary to use the analog devices on the Amiga) also needed on the 15-pin connectors for the Peg?
Questions, questions, I donated a few times to Paolo anyway.
