    hi,

    i've got a problem with my Peg1, an ATI Radeon 7000 64 MByte, and the new 3D driver set. Some(Most)times when a 3D app is started, a grey window opens and MorphOS hangs. sometimes it works. What could be the problem?

    Config: Peg1, 1 Gbyte RAM (single RAM module), ATI Radeon 7000 64 Mbyte)

    Can you send me the output of pciscan by email to bigfoot@private.dk?

    Also the MorphOS debug log would needed, so if you can catch it by serial or ramdebug, it would be of great help. If ramdebug doesn't survive a reset, try to get it one of those times when running a 3D app does work.
    I rarely log in to MorphZone which means that I often miss private messages sent on here. If you wish to contact me, please email me at [username]@asgaard.morphos-team.net, where [username] is my username here on MorphZone.

    Hiya.

    I also get the grey screen, but this is on a peg II/G4.

    Also, one program (Payback ppc version) opens but has the top and bottom inch of the screen flickering like mad! kills my eyes.

    Havn't tested more than a few things yet though.

    @ThePlayer:

    This flickering thingy usually happens when you choose a screen mode which does not exists which will be mapped to the next, bigger one. Example: you choose 1280x960, but this screenmode is not available, so the program will run on 1280x1024 (if that one is available), so 64 pixels on the top of the screen will flicker like hell.

    Solution: go to the System prefs, choose Mode Edit, create a suitable screen.

    @Bifford:
    Did you run Payback setup and choosed a screen which does really exist? (Maybe you changed your graphics card since you last tried Payback)

    Does this flickering only happen with the WOS version or does it happen with the 68k version as well?
