    Hi again, magnetic :)
Splashscreen/readme is ready so "cd ga" is complete.
I'm going to send it to gunne tomorrow via snailmail, as
he wants to upload it on pegasos.org (torrent)...
    Have much fun :)

BTW: I tried to compress the iso with several packers, but it seems
to be useless to compress it (saves max. 4 MB here :( )
so the download will be at about 640MB or so....

    cheers

Sounds fantatstic. Thanks for your efforts once again! :-D

Also thanks to Gunne for getting it up online. Torrent will be fine.

So, this CD is a Live cd and that is cool. How do you select what games you want to run? Is there an interface?

I have a Radeon 7500 how will x be with it?
Does it work with Voodoo 3000?

    Cheers, magnetic!

You can choose the games via "advmenu",
in which the cd boots directly...
All do have a (more or less) nice
    preview to look at :)
I only tested this on Radeon9000pro and
    Radeon9200SE. No voodoo-support this time
and maybe other Radeons do also not work,
as I got no help (f.e. working xorg.cfgs) for these...
But if you managed to get a xorg-screen on the
cd32-live cd chances are good this one also works :)

    cheers

Thanks again for all your hard work on these live cds. They are cool and fun.

Here's my report for "CD GA"

Working 100% with my Peg2 Radeon 7500 agp and NEC 1810 LCD monitor (18in) @ 800x600 24bit. All menus, splash screen, and games tried are gr8t. Fun stuff.

Did I already report that it works perfectly with ATI Radeon 9250 256MB???
    I'm discovering Linux capabilities.
I think I might love it (as my second OS).
I wish I could succeed in installing it....

Well... I've just completed a succesful debian linux install. For the first time!!!

I couldn't ever complete Gentoo installation, because of fatal errors.
    Maybe some hardware issues.

Do you think I should keep Debian or try to switch to Gentoo instead??

    Hi :)

MMhh, it's a question of taste...
I like both, but my still prefered distro is debian...
Did you already try to install the mights Luminocity?
    (I know you have it ;) )
    cheers

    ...it's a bit of a shame

The actual problem is that I can't configure internet on Linux, so I can't download the needed files to complete the luminocity DVD installation...
It's not that simple, I'm a Linux dummy...

    Hi :)
It's not really necessary to have internet-connection under luminocity/linux in general to emerge things. Not sure now what has to be emerged, but
you can simply copy the (under mos(?)-) downloaded file to
/usr/portage/distfiles in luminocity and emerge will find it...

    Good luck so far!
