I'm pretty sure the crash is size-related.
This png crashes ambient (alfie's version)

and since it's one of the png's I've made
myself I'm pretty sure the only difference
to the others is it's size (not file size )

I'll have to try that because I couldn't get mine to crash...I tried with my p0rn directories (2000+ pictures...) icons made with showgirls or view all mode or even ambient thumbnails...worked fine


Okay, I just downloaded that to RAM: as sweets.png.info = no crash
here.

I do have icon scaling set to ignore:large however

@JKD Tested again with different scaling sizes

Here it crashes when "maximum size: ignore" is set.
Every other setting shows the icon ok, but even
huge is way to small for me
