I have a problem using mldonkey. When I start a search query with 's' command
I can see tons of results with 'vr' but when I try to downolad something with
'd <num>' command, a blank file is created in the temp directory of mldonkey
but nothing is downloaded, with 'vd' command I see always 0% completed also
after waiting several minutes ang also changing the file to download.
I think my config is ok: adsl connection, latest mldonkey mos release, Mos SDK
installed & telnet via sh, servers.ini copied from bonus dir...
Any suggestions? thanx in advance.

You have to be more patient MLDonkey is not the fastest P2P Software. It can take hours till a download starts.

Bah, I've been connected 4 over 1 hour but the vd command gives me
always 0% of dowload completed on all the various files i've selected!
I'm so unluky to find all servers so busy??
Any other suggestions?

I don't know what you try to downlaod but sometimes when the Stuff is not so popular it can take a day or two!

Check the "Active" numbers for a file. The bigger number, the more likely you'll get it faster...

Also downloads will be slower if you don't share anything (which is likely the case when you just started using the program)

use Linux!

Felix, I take this as a sign you won't be upgrading your mlgui anytime soon... (yes, I know you halted your MorphOS development until there is support for 3D acceleration for Radeons, but I'm still hoping you will resume also this nice one when you'll return using MOS).

Who cares where you bought it for,
On linux you can use xmule, amule, mld,torrent etc...
And it works like a charm, don't see that on MOS... hehe
