ive seen some posts here that describe install and config of debian 3.0r1. ive found the websites of david260179 and downloaded the kernel and debian-ati.patched-installer, but i cant start the installation, my monitor shows nothing.

i think i need an additional parameter to start the install (video=XXX). unfortunaly this link at the website http://uk.geocities.com/david260179 is dead.

what video-parameter do i have to use?

mmm, im the maintainer of the website, seems ok to me, click refresh on your web browser.(i dont care for internet explorer,so it might come out weird,sorry)

so example,
zimage.chrp root=/dev/hda3 video=radeon hdc=ide-scsi

but anyway, how you can read in the german forum (ofcoz in german and i think you cant understand it...) antibike emailed to the author and he fixed his sites. it worx again.
