    Napalm needs rtg-master, thats the problem. BTW Why does the 68k version of Payback work, but the wos version does not???

    the WOS version uses the hardware, to minimize context switches at accessing 68k audio.device. The 68K Version uses the audio.device.

    This Eaudio.device is GREAT news!! :-)

    Ive installed payback, the update no 7 and both the 68k and wos versions run, but neither of them give me any sound here :(

    Time to email apex for a MOS version!??????? (they wouldnt do one a couple of years ago when I asked them, but maybe now this audi.device is available...? )

    Anyone a clue how to make the audi work in the 68k version?

    (ps. I WANY rave3d drivers for my radeon7000!!!! Software render is good in wos version, but hardware would be better!!!! :)

    So is it just me having problems?

    Once something has run and used (e)audio.device then anything that uses ahi normally "warbles". For eg, if after trying payback i run ANR and load an mp3 the sound levels go up and down, up and down. very weird!

    Ok, scrap that - its warbling even without having run (e)audio.device. Looks like I have a general sound problem here. Been having problems with sound for a few months now.... argh.
