I have installed a new hd, and now its starting to get really messy and crowdy of icons on ambient, when i try to position the disk icons
and snapshot them, after a reboot they are back
to the mess again, what am i doing wrong ?

You must have disk.info on it..

Yes. You should copy env:sys/def_disk.info to drive:disk.info, and then snapshot it.

Note: You can also snapshot the window sizes of drives windows itself, but the disk.info is only reloaded at next boot, so if you set window size, snapshot it, close and reopen window it will appear in the original, unsaved size.
