    Hi Targhan,

    Hey Spidey,

if you need a place to put that guide, I'm more than willing to host the thing here :-)

    Thanks for the offer!
I'll figure out how to make decent HTML-pages first. Got Metalweb running, but at this point don't understand how it works. I need a simple wysiwyg-prog. So I think I'll make it with DreamWeaver at first.

    I'll let you know :-)

I managed to install Windows 98 in 2.1.1 without any graphical glitches or such.

The graphical glitches were in Windows98lite, not windows itself... But I'll try if I can get it updated anyway, gotta guess how many times I need to press cursor up/down etc :-)

    Spidey:

wysiwyg tools are useless and metalweb is even more useless. Take some simple website and experiment with it using some text editor. This way you'll learn how html works (it is really simple), after that you can view some tutorials like this http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp
It will be worth it and fun :-)

    Hello brotheris,

    Thanks for the link :-)
    Nice site.

About HTML-coding: I understand the basic stuff, but it's quicker if you don't have to do everyting for your self, like making a hyperlink:
    I can type the whole stuff in a text-editor: <a href=.....> etc
With (like) DreamWeaver I can manage this by just selecting the to-be hyperlink text and then point to another page or bookmark and see, you've got your hyperlink made in just a few seconds.
No typing mistakes and all. :-)

I agree with you, I'm a little bit lazy :-D

At my work I'm managing the intranet-site and I like to work with a mixture of direct HTML-coding and "point-and-click"-features.

In the future I'll try to make web-pages with my Peg II though! :-)

    Bye,

    Spidey

I wonder how much work would be needed to make the PPC version of NT 4 work on the Pegasos? :-?

Don't know about that, but if it's like the PPC version of 3.x, it'll be pretty useless unless you have programs compiled for PPC WindowsNT. ;)

We tried PPC NT 3.x with some old IBM RS6000's and well, you were able to run the included software and... well that's it. ;)

I vaguely remember 3.X versions of NT but...

Did Microsoft's most efficient and bug-free program named Solitaire made it through safely? :-D

It seems my website's "off the air".
I'll try to get it running ASAP :-)

What about using Microsoft Virtual PC 7 on MAC OSX under mac on linux ?

This should allow you to run winxp
    and allow net access etc....

    only a thought.....

QEmu as i understand can also run WinXP.
And most apps ported from linux to MOS run
much better on MOS. So QEmu for MOS would
    run like hell..

And it uses SDL for video, and it's programmed
to be portable, and there are experimental macosx
    and windows versions already.
