    Hello,

I'm using PegXmac 1.3.1 from CDrom on PEG II

    My last problem is sound.

    Sound is simply missing.

Runnig MOL, the output tells me sound started, but dont have sound on OSX.
    realy dont understand :-(

Her is what I did to configure sound:
Take the MOL driver from the mounted volum on OSX and installed it.
Does I have something special to do on MOL rc.sound ?
Using integrated chip for sound, which server is better for MOL ? Alsa or OSS ?

Would like to install on HD PegXmac and the install script doesnt works properly. Dont know exactly what this script does, but it trys to create a linux partition. This partition already exists on my hard drive. I want to reclycle it but during this step, the installer stop telling about an error during creating partition :-(

Maybe I can do the scipt work myself, but need to know exactly what it does.

    HELP PLEASE

for sound, I set alsa=via82xx as bootoption for pegxmac.

cd hd install worked for me, in the first step the script complained
about a full harddisk and start amigafdisk, which i exited without writing and in the next step it asks for the partition, where to install and that worked here.

Always use ALSA - OSS is FUCT on Peg iirc

    @ Karo

Nice, thank you very much. sound is working now with the
alsa=via82xx option, but it slows down a lot the machine.
Am I the only having this problem?
Willa sound blaster be better ?
Which is the option for alsa to use Soundblaster ?
