    Well, why don`t you just boot from your MOS Install CD and copy back your files then?
    MOS CD should allways work.

    About a year or two ago I suggested that when you press control (or whatever) while booting, it would take you to plain shell.

    Well that much for a good suggestion, never was realised ;)

    @hooligan

    That would not help in this case. No gfx driver, nothing to display a shell.

    @stefa308

    Use the bootcd to restore your system. But you don't have to remove unused drivers. When some gfx hardware is not available in the machine, its driver just quits and doesn't eat resource/memory.

    @Henes: what about VESA support ? It would require some sort of x86 emulation but would allow to use *any* gfxcard on MorphOS which is limited to a small number today...

    Leo.
    Nothing hurts a project more than developers not taking the time to let their community know what is going on.

    I asked for years for some crappy VESA support, it was even on the MOS featurelist, but when I asked too much when nothing happened, Cyberfrank just said NO, and that's the whole story. ;-P

    @Henes:

    It just quits? What if you hotplug a gfxcard (maybe in future with different bus), will it be recognized again and load the driver? :)

    What do you mean? Wasn't it demonstrated at Saku meeting a while ago? :-)
