I'm back from holydays again with another problem :-(
I've a working MOL installation (startmol --test) is ok but
I'm not able to install OSX 10.3 Panther.
    Here the details:

    - I've created under MOS with SCSIconfig a new FFS partition
(the 3rd in my primary and only HD) and I've left unchecked
the boot & mount options. I've also not obviously formatted
    it under MOS :-)
    - I've modified the molrc.osx file with the correct unit of
my CDROM and this line to mount the partition where I'd
    like to install OSX:

    blkdev: /dev/hda3 -rw -force

When I try to start mol with
    statrtmol --cdboot -X
    the installation start correctly.
The pic with the "penguin sodomizing the apple" :-)
appears and a progress idicator starts to run!
VERY NICE VIBRATIONS GUYS!! PEG RULEZ!!

    But then, what's happening!
AAARgh, a blank blue screen appears with the ugly b&w mouse pointer
that I can move around but the installatin seems to freeze
without a damn error message... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
    Please, could someone help me?
    My config is Peg2 G3, 256MB, HD IBM 80GB & Radeon 9200,
    nothing more...
Sigh, what am I doing wrong??
    Many thanx in advance!!

I had the exact same problem.
The reason I think, is because linux is looking for the pegxmac cdrom to access some files. And since you replaced it with the macosx cd it can't find them and hangs.
I solved this by adding a temporary extra cdrom drive for macosx installation. But perhaps there's other ways as well.

    Hope this helps,
    Cheers

Apple sodomy! That is really funny, but I am pretty sure the penguin is "hugging" the apple :)

As for your problem, are you using pegxmac, or debian, gentoo??
