With WinRar on Windows is possible to open ISO image without burning it and so is possible to use the files on the virutal cd....there is some utilities for MOS to do the same???

Would a shared library that can read (and possible edit/write) ISOs be a good idea?


For myself, I would like to be able to read Akai S1000 sampler and EMU ESI-32 ISOs from CD-ROM.
(I beleive this can be licensed.)

I think, that Diskimage can mount ISO files...

With this you can just mount and unmount iso's easily.
I've setup a menu to quickly mount/unmount with commands like this:

DiskImageCtrl unit 4 insert `Requestfile`
DiskImageCtrl unit 4 eject

use filedisk.device from Aminet and the cdfilesystem is include in the MorphOS ROM image.
