But why would you want to rape the sound twice instead of only having it raped once? :)

You find more mp3 than ogg with MLdonkey.

After conversion sound quality will be worse.

Use Ripper to encode your CDs to OGG. It rules.

But as people have pointed out, converting mp3 to ogg is generally not
a good idea. Maybe if you want to significantly lower the bitrate at
the same time, so that you're already expecting a quality loss.

I don't know of any device that can play OGG, that can not play mp3,
so it's usually best to leave mp3 files in that format.
