    Hi folks,

    Anyone know if the *demo* of Miami can connect to broadband?

    [Please, no answers telling me to buy MiamiDX, unless someone actually knows how to contact Holger. :-)]

    I got the miami dx demo from aminet. It works fine, I've used in 2 different cable providers, each time behind NAT and dhcp provides the ip address.

    @ultraspec:

    Thanks.

    Is this as easy to set up as dial-up?

    Miami is *very* easy to set up and use, that's its major strengths IMHO. Follow these instructions for the installation:

    https://morph.zone/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=1906&forum=9#16661

    ... and then try running the setup guide/wizard to set up the network. I have not used it with modem myself, only Ethernet (stopped using modems at all some years ago), but it should be as easy as ever to set up a modem connection too! Good luck! :-)
    MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
    MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)
