If there are any other players, I don't know of them.

Both mplayer and frogger can do that.

But ONLY if the files happen to use video codecs, that have been ported.

    (Same goes for avi's aswell)

There are wmv-s around which I can't replay even with the builtin Media Player of windows (neither 98 nor XP, despite the online codec finder...)

Seriously, I love this kind of "compatibility"...

(I have a few avis though, which are replayed just fine on MorphOS, and not on Win... *shrugs*)

I suppose a next release of MPlayer for MorphOS will incorporate even more codecs - but to be honest, there always will be such movies that are hard to replay with even the most uptodate players and codecs...

If anyone wants an example, try the Damnatus trailer. If you're extremely lucky you will get picture and sound as well - if you're not... Welcome on planet earth :-)

I've had a few myself work, then the next time I tried them they would play only the sound like you said. I think its just buggy codecs or the movies are not 100% in the proper format. Lets hope a new release of mplayer comes out soon. I still think its the best player out as it is though. I have great luck with it.
