YT 1.5 seems to have some issues with parseing several video-urls!
Example: searching for "Eisenbahn Nostalgie" or "The Voice Kids" leads to 100% CPU-load (parsing video) for ever. Only reboot helps.
Older versions doesn't show that behaviour an work flawless.

I think you can iKill the ytSearch window.

Freezing the task and hiding the window works to avoid a reboot.

I the next Version I will include both parsing methods to choose.
Both aren't working perfectly but until I find the ultimate solution, this would be a good compromise.

New MorphOS 3.19 user here without any AmigaOS knowledge.

I downloaded ytsearch 1.6 from morphos-storage and extracted it to my work folder.
The readme states I need the yt.rexx from here
    http://igracki.square7.ch/download.php?file=yt_mos.lha

I copied all the sys files over to my sys: folder.

Downloaded hurl_2.0 ,no clue where to install it so installed it to SYS: ?

Guessing I am missing the Hollywood player, I downloaded version 10.0 from morphos-storage
    and installed it.

However if I click ytSearch 1.6 I get an error from HollywoodPlayer

    Error locking Sys:Storage/Hollywood/!
File: CheckHollyWoodTempFiles:hws (current line:22- In function: OpenDirectory)

Could you please advise what I am missing or doing wrong ?

Maybe you have forgotten to install RapaGUI plugin for Hollywood?
    https://www.hollywood-mal.de/download.html

There you can also find the latest version 11 of Hollywood player which is installed in Utilities.

No also installed RapaGUI, I basically downloaded everything everytime a popup mentioned I was missing something.

But like hURL , i did install RapaGUI to a drawer in SYS since I had no clue where to have the installer install it.

I did however find Hollywood Player 10 which I installed, I will try the HWPlayer_Amiga.lha (version 11) from the site you linked.

Had an aha moment, copied Ytsearch to System:Applications and now it launches without the error message.

Next hurdle, clicking on a video

    A new error pop-up

    "rexx:yt.rexx Unknown command"

Ok read about that on page 2 of this topic so reassign REXX: from SYS:S to SYS:rexx
because that is where yt.rexx has been copied.

    A new error pop-up now

"No luck ARexx reimplemenation is not yet finished, if you want to use ARexx, please install
    your original rexxsyslib:library"

OK another Google further, installed ARexx from morphos-storage, rebooted.

And yes I seem to able if I manually first change the assign REXX: to SYS:rexx to use YtSearch
as in I can save videos.

I guess I still need to link Mplayer 1.5 (from morphos-storage) as a default player somehow ?

You can copy the ytSearch folder wherever you want.
The file yt.rexx has to be in Sys:S

You can also install RapaGUI wherever you want, although one central place for all plugins is recommended.
Because during installation, an assign is set to the folder where you installed RapaGUI.

The MPlayer path you can set in the yt.cfg file by editing the coresponding line. It is also in SYS:S.
Recently, a brand new version of MPlayer has been released:

    https://www.morphos-storage.net/?id=2467839

    Good luck! :)
