    Hi,

I just finished to install a debian on my PEG1 with Mac On Linux 0.9.70 and MOL doesnt works properly.

With an 0.9.69 version, I had a lot of CPU=0 erros during the installation. People on forums tells it was an 0.9.69 problem. Some guys are using now the 0.9.70 on PEG II without problems, but I continue having same erros.

A thing surprising me, is the first time I ran MOL 0.9.70 It worked just fine, But I did not accomplished the installation because of an Hard disk missing. Now, the boot hangs very early :-?
Is it possible MOL having a configuration file broken (modified by himself)? How can I refresh this file(s) ?

    Thanks

    hi, serge!
I just only can tell you that MOL .0.9.70 works
    on my Peg1.....
Maybe you should compile it from the sources
again (and make sure it doesn't use older
files then, as "./compile --prefix=/usr" anyway
    put the files in /usr/local/....
If you like Dopus you should try "Worker"...
It's a good linux-clone and you can copy the
files to the correct place easily....
    Good luck!
    bye

    Hi, serge!
I try to help, but I'm no expert, too...
    At first download the MOL-sources
    from www.maconlinux.org....
Extract the tarball (f.e. with ark; I use /usr/src as
    destination...)...
Open a console and cd to the created dir
    (f.e.: cd /usr/src/mol-0.9.70/)
Now you should proceed as with almost every
    default-compiling:
    "./configure"
    "make"
    "make install"

When finished (lasts some time) everything should
have been installed into /usr/local and subdirectories....
Now either make sure your old mol-files are deleted
(preferably you should deinstall the .deb files
before you compile the sources), or replace the
old ones with the new ones....
Don' forget to recheck your /etc/mol/molrc.cfg
    and the other config files....
for fullscreenmode you should probably rerun
    "molvconfig".
Make also sure you copy the new mol-modules
    to the correct place /lib/modules/yourkernelmoduledir
I wish you good luck for now!!!!
    bye
