I was just wondering (seeing the great and impressive developments on the platform recently regarding “impossible” stuff like modern e-mail client and web browser) whether it would be technically possible to make a MorphOS port of the Signal messenger app?

Seeing as the Desktop app is written in JavaScript, there's nothing to port. You'd have to write a client from scratch, based on the libsignal-protocol-c library (GPL3).

I'd say "I'll do it", but I'm already overwhelmed by my current open projects and other obligations (hey, Expose bounty is still waiting for my time)...

We really need to clone you...
