Hi, I am trying to change some default icons. Which is the name of the default icon for a CD or a DVD?

When I insert a CD/DVD I just get the icon of a harddisk... I tried copying the icon of the MorphOS CD to the env-archive directory under different names: def_CD.info, def_CDROM.info, def_DVD.info ...

How I know the default icon names? Should I install something?

    Bye!

    Hi Hawk,

The default Icons stored in 'SYS:Prefs/env-archive/sys'.
The name format for disks (harddrives, cdroms, zipdrives) is,
    'def_disk.info' for generic disks
'def_XXXdisk.info' for mounted disks where 'XXX' is the mountlist name (ie. HD0,CD0,CD1,ZIP0)
So copy your CD icon to 'SYS:Prefs/env-archive/sys'
and rename it to 'def_CD0disk.info' for the first cd/dvd drive.
Then your cd icon will show for a cd.

    nels.

Snapshot a drawer in the size you prefer and than copy that drawer icon as def_drawer.info. That should work.

Well, it works for me. This is what I did:

Make a new drawer with the drawer icon you like. Snapshot this drawer
in the size you want then copy the drawer icon to
sys:prefs/env-archive/sys/def_drawer.info. Now reboot and it should
work (it only works after a reboot).
