    Hi,

Has anyone had any luck running an ANSI editor on MorphOS, either native or 68k? I have had some success with DiEd, but this seems to lack tthe various graphical blocks/shades needed for nice BBSesque graphics.

My editor of choice on classic Amiga was HyperAnsi, which almost works but file requestors are non-responsive.

    Thanks

I've had some problems with the mos dos library which prevents running a BBS and introduces problems with dctel, I wonder if it's the same issue you're running into with ansi editing. Let me see if I can correlate this later today.

Would be interested to hear your findings. However, DCTelnet seems to work well for me (perhaps perfectly even)*. I've also got Max's BBS 1.54 running on MorphOS and accepting telnet log ons, which I was quite pleased with. The missing link is the ANSI graphics to create the menus etc. After that, would like to get a telnet MorphOS BBS up and running. Lack of time might scupper the plans, but we can dream...

I would love to hear more on how you got Maxs BBS running and accepting Telnet logons! What serial device did you use and are there other parts of MorphOS and/or Max's BBS that has to be configured?

I am completely new to MorphOS but one of my goals is actally to set up a BBS on the machine to save my classic Amigas from the hassle of being up 24/7.
