Since the beginning of this week I am unable to use the otrdecoder Software for Morphos.
I used it for about 6 Years on MorphOS - but now it says : no connection to server.
I have tried the OSX version (PPC) that does its job without error.

Does someone else run into this problem? I tested version 518 and 514.
    Snoopium Log tells me this:

[1] [otrdecoder] [Open] [IXPPCSTACK] [Lesen] [Fehlgeschlagen]
    [2] [netinfo.device] [Open] [ENV:sys/net/group] [Lesen] [Fehlgeschlagen]
    [3] [netinfo.device] [Open] [ENV:sys/net/group] [Lesen] [Fehlgeschlagen]
[4] [otrdecoder] [Open] [etc:zoneinfo/GMT] [Lesen] [Fehlgeschlagen]
[5] [otrdecoder] [Open] [etc:zoneinfo/posixrules] [Lesen] [Fehlgeschlagen]
[6] [Shell Process] [Open] [shellppc.prefs] [Lesen] [Fehlgeschlagen]

I have 2 MOS computers and they both refuse to connect - it seems
that something had changed this last week end.

    does anybody know whats wrong?

    Here too;(
I thought I was the only one using it;)

I read something that they are now using https connections.

Also the previews in otrMUI aren't working anymore.

Seems so that we need a new version of the decoder.

I wrote to the onlinetvrecorder team that our decoder does not work anymore.
But they did not answer. I think a mail from one person has to little weight.

@igracki: we need there attention, please ask in the support forum for
    help.

If there is someone else using this software, please write as well.

    thank you

I already wrote a message there, I'm otrRocky;).

I also sent an email to the developer of the MorphOS version of the otr decoder, and he replies, that he is not responsible anymore for the decoder;( and he thinks that there is no one who could do a MorphOS version there;(

He also doesn't have the needed toolchain to do a MorphOS version.

I will ask him, if he could get access to the source again and if he is willing to install the toolchain again and try to compile a current version.

Btw, where I can find a current MorphOS cross compiler for Linux?
Then I could send him the link so he wouldn't need to search for it himself, to make things as easy as possible for him;)

GCC 5.x can be easily built from sources.

Good news, the MorphOS otrDecoder works again!

I received an eMail from the otr-support, that it didn't worked in the past days due to some changes on their server.

    Happy decoding!

The only thing which didn't works again are the previews in my otrMUI programm, because the images are now on https server and reggae (http.streamer) didn't support https;(

But I could change the preview window to download the images with external wget until one day (maybe) http.streamer support https..

I was told its not the same issue.

Last week (18th of may), when I encountered the "No connection" problem again, I sent an email to webmaster@onlinetvrecorder.com.
The same day a bit later I received a "new" version of the MorphOS otrDecoder, which works again!

I wrote "new", because I found out that they only replaced the "www.onlinetvrecorder.com" in the binary with an ip address!

I could send you the "new" version, but you should also write to the email above, that you have problems connecting to the server, so they see there is interest in the MorphOS version of the otrDecoder! The more the better!

Thank you, Thomas. I will write to the Webmaster. Good to know that we don't face the same issue as last time.

Onlinetvrecorder has a new IP. And they made a new decoder (for Morphos as well v5.19).
I was able to decode some coded files, but the program does freeze my OS3.9 a lot.
Can some of you confirm this issue?

Hi, its the same fault, like in the previous version, because they just replaced the string "www.onlinetvrecorder.com" with the ip address, which is a shorter string and they filled the other chars with spaces!

I reported this problem to the otr webmaster.
Until they changed the archive, you can download the patched version
    here
