How do you perform a fresh install on a SCSI harddisk instead of an IDE, and boot from the SCSI Drive?

I do have a compatible SCSI board (Thanks Magnetic!).

I do have an Amiga RDB (PFS) installed on the hard disk I will be using, do I have to run that utility to wipe the drive first or can I just format over it?

    Thanks for the Help!

    A late addition...

Don't believe these matters but, the hard drive is Quantum Atlas 5 and the controller is a Symbios 8951U.

    Thanks.
