hmm first thing i would check is if possibly there is a an opensource for the driver available. (most of the time there is not :(), but if there is that would make it easier. Is the camera usb i am assuming?

I have a Fuji A200 and it works good, the
cameras that support Mass Storage Device standards
work great. They can be used to transfer files
as well. Some cheaper cameras are proprietory
    and use their own software/drivers.

    What is your cam's protocol?

For digital cameras that uses the PTP protocol, there's a program called PTPDigCam, which I believe you can find on this very web site or you can find it for sure with google.

The author's name is Chritophe GENRE.

    Hope it helps!

Is there any chance to make the digicam working?

Buying standard USB memory card reader and plugging cameras memory card to that would likely help... I do that...
(assuming it has separate memory cards, and it uses "standard" FAT format for them...)

But even if the camera itself is massstorage compatible, there are at least 2 (fixable) things, that can make it not work...

1.No Fat95 installed, time to go to Aminet!
    2.Few settings in Poseidon

I don't remember what I had to change in Poseidon to make it working but an Aiptek camera was able to communicate here, using massstorage.
