I remember questioning this at the time.
Somebody had a working UAE, but as I recall this didn't work with MOS.

No, i think the screenshot shows UAE running with an AmigaOS from a hardfile (not a directory).

from what luky-amiga is saying, it sounds like he just has a directory with Amiga OS in it.. I've sent him a PM but no replies... and that is why I posted this question because of his reply.

Yes, it was me who said it...

It's easy. Use -m command line parametr.

uae.elf -mSystem:Hdd/System/

where "System:" means partition name which will be used in UAE and "Hdd/System" means directory (e.g.SFS) where you have AmigaOS 3.x.

I know that command, used it too.
I did have a partition used for UAE.
Installed OS3.1 on it.
But after a softreset in UAE all made dirs (like C and so on) aren't recognised as dirs anymore, but instead they show up as files.

Also, I couldn't startup from the drive because my used partition wasn't recognised as a harddrive in UAE.

Which version of UAE are you using?

UAE 0.8.6 doesn't work.

I am using UAE 0.8.22 and special edition. Uae.elf (3025608 bytes) and UAE.elf (3257292 bytes). Both are working with AmigaOS 3.9 and AmigaOS 3.1.

I have just downloaded UAE 0.8.22 from internet and it has 3259276 bytes. I can't try this version now.
