I've been running mldonkey today and i noticed that the cpu usage was at 100%, so i was wondering if mldonkey would eat up that much. so i checked taskmanager and to my suprize it was the ide.device consuming so much cpu power. it is around 80%. i had to lower its priority to get back some responsiveness of the system.
so how the hell is that possible??? is the cpu copying file between ram <-> HD??? reminds me of the old amiga days with all the ide adaptors without dma support.
i hope this is just a nasty bug or something.
