Hi, I am trying to print some PDF via a HP Laserjet 1100, currently
there are no built-in drivers in MorphOS, but I assume there is a
compatible driver there. Anyway, when I try to print something I get a
system request to insert PS: in any drive. I think this is PostScript,
    but what should I do?

    Hi Leon,

You'll have to wait for the next MOS-version if you want to print with MOS.
There are some troubles with it at the moment.

    Bye,

I thought that TurboPrint was working fine in Morphos 1.4?

What problems are there with Morphos and printing?

There have been some people reporting that they have their printers working. I have yet to find anyone that has a working HP printer though. I hope that this is corrected by 1.5 since this keeps me from completely switching over at my house.

Thank you very much, but what is this PS: assign? I assume this should be the folder where the PostScript fonts are, am I right? I am completely far from having experience about PostScript.

At the moment I'm using Studio for Pagestream to print. It works fine, it only gives a warning: "Error 12 in IFF read module. Reason: IFF syntax error"
After clicking on it the computer starts to print without any problems!

    Hello Tomo,

Do You have a Peg 1 or a Peg 2?

AFAIK printing with the Peg 2 doesn't work.
I had the Peg 1, with that I could print from various programs.

So, I'm very curious with which Peg you've printed so far :-)

    Bye,

I got my old HP672c to print okay from Peg 1 with
turboprint enabled. It seems to work with most
software. It is a parallel connection.

    Hello Druideck,

    I've got a HPDeskjet920C.
Printing was fine on the Peg 1, except printing pictures. The colors were inverted or so.
I did understand that GraphicPublisher V7.20 does work with Peg 1.

LaserJet are Postscript compatible, set the device in the print requester to "PAR:" in APDF and then the printer prints the whole thing.
I've got a LaserJet 2200 and it works.

But I heard the parallel.device for PegII is broken (i've got a Peg1), perhaps it doesn't work at all. Try it.
