From Odyssey: Settings > Preferences > Mime types

Find (or create if not there) the entry for application/x-bittorrent
    Extension: torrent (not .torrent)
    Action: external viewer
    Viewer: "A:enqueuetorrent/enqueuetorrent" (path to executable)
(last box): %l (that's the letter l, not number 1)

You may have to change the executable path depending on your config.

    Best regards

You need to have mldonkey already running in the background for enqueutorrent to work.

Once you're sure you have everything working ok, you might want to use this script to get around that limitation, but I'd make sure enqueuetorrent and mldonkey are working ok first before adding more complexity. :-)

    It's a bit of a bugger, isn't it? :-)
It takes a bit of configuration, and you'll probably need to set up port forwarding on your router (as with almost any torrent client). Have you set up a torrent client before on any OS?

I suggest you start by reading the 'quickstart' document - it has far better instructions than I could give.

The GUI for the program can be accessed via odyssey. The URL is http://127.0.0.1:4080

It's a long time since I set mine up, so I can't remember what/where needs to be configured I'm afraid. With luck, Andreas_Wolf is digging up helpful and relevant links for you as I type. :-)

thank you so much I do not understand much of these procedures, I could use bittorrent program as an alternative I tried it but it does not work but it should be simple just have to launch the command via sheel.

There is a 5-year-old French tutorial (Google-translated to English) but I don't know how adequate it is for today's MorphOS:

    http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=fr&tl=en&u=http://obligement.free.fr/articles/mldonkey.php

OK, there seems to be a possible source of confusion. The mldonkey 3.0.0 archive on Aminet doesn't contain the start script, or various other files. If you've downloaded that one then scrub it.

    Download this one:

    http://tokai.binaryriot.org/public/mldonkey-3.0.0-morphos.lha

    Then download this one:

    http://aminet.net/package/comm/tcp/mldonkey-3.1.0-morphos

and copy/overwrite over teh 3.0.0 installation. That at least gives you a good starting point. :-)

According to the readme, you may also need to install the MorphOS SDK to get this working:
