I was just wondering if there is a fan control application done for the G5 yet.

My G5 is is running at 61 degrees celsius while running MorphOS while OS X Runs at 47-50 degrees celsius.
I know its not dangerous temperatures but maybe if i got it down 10 degrees maybe i can save some life on the machine.

And there is no fan control app for the G5 under OSX either.

Maybe they are just measuring differently?

@Jim I'm quite sure SMB fan control works but I'm not entirely sure.

I think theres a PPC version but I'm not sure.

There are Intel Mac fan control programs, but I've never found one for the G5.

They sure do exist for G4s (PB,Mini,MDD) and AFAIR they also work on G5 iMacs.

Problem is they all just monitor in unregistered mode and getting a registered version is possible these days.
