    Hi,

    I am new to morphos so still learning, i logged into my facebook and was looking for a quick game of pool, so i searched and clicked the top one which i think was miniclip pool, page loads but black screen for the pool, does anyone know when OWB will support such games.
    I have swfdec_plugin 2.0.library in my OWB plugins folder.

    Any info would most apreciated.

    Kind Regards

    I think the swfdec_plugin.library isn't compatible to Flash games, which are mostly intended for Flash 9 and newer, where swfdec only offers partial support for Flash 9 (mostly video related).

    @amiga-dave:

    What analogkid said. We have to wait until the flash games dies and goes HTML5 instead (mac users have the same problem). After that, it's a question if the processor can handle it or not.

    No, they don't. Current Adobe Flash Player runs fine on Intel Macs with MacOSX 10.6+:

    Maybe you mean iOS users.

    Some of us Mac users dont put flash junk on our system though. I sure wish flash would just go away once and for all.

    This may be true as it's a personal choice after all whether to use Flash. I just countered the claim that users of current Macs (10.6+ on Intel) couldn't use Flash even if they wanted to.

    iOS users may have a problem regarding Flash support in general. But most mentioned Flash games on Facebook exist as a native iOS app in the App Store.

    @Andreas,

    You should not forget the persons that still use mac os x, up to tiger or leopard, on their macs powerpc. They have to use old versions of adobe flash, designed for their version of mac os x. When surfing on internet they cannot view some contents that use flash, or with many difficults. And there is no update possible for them.

    ...and many of those "native" apps are Adobe AIR, meaning they come with the required Flash player included in the package. ;-) IMHO, Flash has never been bigger, including on iOS devices (but there the Flash content comes in the shape of "apps").

    I didn't forget them, that's why my statement refers to MacOSX 10.6+ on Intel in particular. The original claim I countered is about "Mac users" in general, i.e. pre-10.6 on PPC as well as 10.6+ on Intel, but is not true for the latter (and much larger) group. I wouldn't have countered the claim if it didn't include users of 10.6+ on Intel.
