CD Player, which comes with MorphOS-distribution, or Kaya from old MorphOS-distribution (V1.4.x). Both are nice, but Kaya is also able to play mp3 and can use playlists (and has a nice GUI)........
    Peg2, 3xPowerMac G5, 2xPowerbookG4, 2x MacMiniG4, Efika (again), A3000T and life is never boring.....

I doubt any of them can do what the thread opener has asked for.

The client application of the FreeDB package can play Audio CDs, too.

CD Player can display track names but the version at Aminet can't.

Yeah yeah... I try to update it soon (before I leave to work abroad again..., doh).

Some CDs (not many) support CDText which allow reading track names without FreeDB.
    1 + 1 = 3 with very large values of 1

Interesting, I didn't know that. From where does Kaya retrieve the song names, CD-Text or online database?

Is this really part of the MorphOS distribution, or are you both talking about different "CD Player" programs?

@AW: I think it's reading via Internet-database - can see short network-activity, when inserting an new CD. Runs only with originals or 1:1 copies.........
