Hello, I have installed the LW 5.2 from amiga in morphos and it runs fine but only the layout.
If I go to the modeler I get a message: "Can't enter modeler: Error 408"

The same Lw runs perfect in a my friend's peggy.
I think that may be something bad in my morphos... a missed screennmode or something.
Any idea???
I wav investigating with snoopdos without good luck.

You could try adding a screenmode ID into
Modeler's config file to run it stand-alone
from Layout. (LightWave_Support/MOD-config)

Add a line similar to this in the config file:
ScreenModeID 40920002

You can use a utility from aminet called
"GetHexModeID.lha" to find an appropriate
setting and make sure you specify an 8bit
screenmode. Then start Modeler executable
stand-alone and see what happens. Also
make sure "arexxport.library" is in your
libs drawer.

where can i get the last release of lightwave for the amiga?

Is Amiga Lightwave 5.2 (5.1) free or still comercial version?

On their web isnt any mention about Amiga version, its price and purchase.

I tryed with 800x600 640x480 and 640x512 screenmodes in 8 bit without good luck. :(
Any idea?
What screenmode are you using in Ambient? And in modeler?

I have Ambient 1024x768x16 and Modeler 1024x768x8. Modeler resolution depends on that utility.

And does your Layout run?
