This youtube_centre script is quite impressive. Though one might be confused with all its options. But it's great to have this, considering the mess youtube constantly creates.

That said, youtube.js is lighter and should work for all videos as well, now. :)

It works fine here, both in HTML5 mode and in Flash replacement mode.

Do you have a link that doesn't work?

When will their HTML5 no-need-for-Flash support be final?

    Google behaving like Steven.

It seems that YT is acting up once again. I can't play any movies anymore. When I click links, all I get is a big black box. If I reload, I can at least download the movie. But with or without HTML5-player, nothing plays in YT.

Try spoofing as recent Firefox in Youtube's HTML5 mode (i.e. without using youtube.js). This works here. Read there for a more extensive explanation by Fab from 3 weeks ago:

And just install latest available scripts at http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/scripts/ (youtube.js and youtube_fullscreen_fix.js). Or use Grunch to update them.

In latest youtube.js, I added support for the new youtube links that have an encrypted signature (more and more widely used), so they should hopefully all play (until youtube breaks it again).

You can also have a look at this youtube_centre userscript BootWb mentioned, it works nicely (but you'll have to configure it to use HTML5 and so on).

That was the first thing I did. Which is why I mentioned that it broke again here.

Really? Weird. Nothing worked when I tried. Have you HTML5 video switched on or off?

So you have these scripts, but are they enabled (menu: Windows/Scripts)?

Have you also updated the OWB itself? OWB on MorphOS ISO is a bit old already too. http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/

And all those scripts are enabled from Scripts window, not just copied there?

I can't get Youtube to work either, unless I spoof as Internet Explorer 10 with HTML5-video on. And yes, I got the latest of everything.

This is new behaviour for me since YT used to work without spoofing and HMTL5-video. But since YT are jerks, I'm satisfied with this solution for now.

So my advice for newbies is, get Grunch and use it to update everything and try spoofing as another browser and switch HTML5-player on and off until you get it to work.

It seems that YT changes something again. Since today here (Austria) we have the same problem, but it can be played it with getvideo and Mplayer or by clicking to "18" in the line below the video (view as HTML5). May take some time till this line appears..........

As said above, be sure to have OWB 1,23 and latest scripts at http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/scripts/ (youtube.js and youtube_fullscreen_fix.js, only those two are really needed for youtube). And as said above, be sure to ADD/ENABLE them in scripts manager window.

I just tested a few seconds ago, and all the videos i stumbled on worked, either in normal HTML5 mode, or in Flash-replacement mode.

And finally, as said above again, it's not morphos or the browser's fault if Youtube can sometimes break. They only have a very small fraction of their videos available as HTML5 mode, and for the rest you need hacks to replace Flash, which can obviously break each time they change something in their page.

I have not come across a video that doesn't work here (that's without using youtube.js) in a long time. Do you have an example URL?

@Fab: I've installed latest scripts and they are activated. But there seems to be a problem at YT only yesterday (11.3.2012) - videos where showed, but cannot be played. Today it's well running again. Maybe thats different in other countries.....
