Speaking of which, which came out first, Windows 95 of Magellan 5.x?
Ever since I first used Magellan, it seems like every Operating System has been playing catch up with it. Still to this day I am hard pressed to find a Graphic Interface that lures me in as deeply as it does.

If you believe Wikipedia Magellan 5 came first. I would have guessed other way, but it says Opus 5: 1995-04-12 and Windows 95: August 24, 1995. Even more impressive!

Opus 5 from 1995 is not the same as Opus Magellan (Opus 5.6). Magellan came out in 1997 according to the same Wikipedia article (and Magellan II (Opus 5.8) which this thread is about in 1998).

Yes, I also think that XDelusion wrote "Magellan" when he really meant DOpus 5 in general.

guys, give redrumola some slack. He was just awoken from a cryogenic state. He has yet to move from MorphOS 1.3. LMAO.

I wasn't the originator, I just repeated what I saw announced on Facebook and Meta-MorphOS as it sounded mildy interesting. I personally haven't used Magellan since the 90's.
