The orginal idea of me redoing the Ambient panels had been the possibility to add new external classes just like those for the screenbar. For developing and testing I had created this not-so-good-looking clock:

For installation just follow included readme.

I might also note that this is just an "as is" piece of SW that might very well stop working with future MorphOS releases since the APIs aren't yet set in stone.

I've noticed when I use Alpha = 0 on the panel the clock is not visible, just wanted to inform you about that =)

Oh, I noticed that I could change its own alpha-value aswell.. now It's working!

Looks very promising. I have some ideas for panel classes... There is not enough space on the screenbar for some things, but panel can provide just enough .
