It indeed doesn't require CG fonts, actually they don't even work afaict. It supports all types that FreeType has to offer, so basically TTF, Type1 or/and anything OpenType, though ...
I might also point at the free font package
MorphOS Value Packagain which makes a perfect companion for use with PageStream5 ....
