I know, it is a really weird problem, and one that I am not sure, even now, I fully understand how I fixed it, but it is working for me now, so I am not going to mess up my setup again to find out what casued and then fixed it exactly, but it seemed to me to be a font issue - possibly caused by Pagestream misreading its own Pagestrem.prefs file.
