As long as AROS x86 or MOS x86 is not good enough to justify resignation from using windows it will not going to happen.
You want to change to commodity hardware You have to provide Amiga solution that is as good as win/osx/lnx ,maybe 10 % worse but no more.
Otherwise it still will be a hobby, and as a hobby ppc is more interesting.
