Thanks! I actually found that just now, probably right when you posted, and it totally worked! Because of my new Superdrive being hardwired as master on the IDE bus, I had to set my IDE-SSD adapter to slave, and because of that, my open firmware now thinks the CD is the HDD and vice-versa, so it takes more poking around than usual to get these things right!
