Despite my best efforts so far, I've yet to get MorphOS 3.15 to fully partition the 200GB SSD in my 17" PowerBook G4. I want to set it up with two partitions, one for MorphOS and one for macOS. Is there a limit on the partition size that can be created? It seems to have created an 8GB SFS partition labelled DH1, a 128GB SFS NODOS partition labelled DH2 and tiny 120MB partition labelled DH0 that I haven't wrapped my head around yet. It has left the remaining 47.23GB as free space. Ideally, I want to have 40GB for MorphOS and the remainder of the drive for macOS.
The standard layout is a ~64MB boot partition (HFS), a System and Work partition. Unfortunately, the default FS has a 128GB limitation, which sometimes causes unused gaps to remain.
Oh I see, ok then it makes sense. So to accomplish a dual boot setup, make sure the partition sizes are less than 128GB? Does the HDConfig tool automatically generate the 64MB partition? I deleted all partitions to start from scratch but those three partitions just keep coming back once I deleted them. So what I'm left with is a 120MB HFS, an 8GB SFS, and a 128GB SFS partition and 47.23GB left over as free space. No matter how I try and reconfigure the partition sizes, nothing ever sticks and it just keeps reverting back. What's worse is when I try to enter a value in MB, the whole system just locks up and I have to reboot.
