Trouble with Wi-Fi setup

    Hello everybody,

I just started playing around with morphos on my "new" g4 mdd (fw400). I installed a TP-Link TL-WN350GD PCI card to connect to my home wifi network. I know this card has a supported Atheros chipset and is being used by many people with success. When I enter into the network settings in the preferences panel, I can see listed an wl0 wireless using the atheros5000.device. But here the problems start:

I cannot see the list of networks inmediately, it usually takes a long time to show and sometimes I need to reboot the computer. And when they list, the network settings window become kind of feezed. I was able to enter the key one time, and even when I could see a green dot at the connection status OWB couldn't connect. I'm I missing something that has to be configured manually or...? And, shouldn't be any gadget in the ambient screen bar showing wifi status?

Any help would be very appreciated

    Thank you in advance!

I solved the issue. All I had to do is to uncheck the "internal loopback" option. Now I'm writting this using OWB :) It's fantastic.

One question: Is there a way to mimic the Ambient MUI setings and general MUI settings, so the desktop and the programs behave the same?

I'll be using this post to make some questions if you are right with this :)

    Cheers!

MUI programs (including Ambient) use the general MUI settings unless specific settings are configured for them. So to have everything behave the same, configure the general MUI settings as desired and delete all program-specific MUI setting files.
