The system believes /dev/sda7 is your root / filesystem. You should check /etc/fstab too if the data in there is correct.
How do you mount your root partition out of the Debian CD to edit /mnt/etc/yaboot.conf?
You can make pictures of your /etc/yaboot.conf /etc/fstab and your
blkid-output. I can have a look on it.
