I have shipped two of the hi-res 1.67 PB models to our users in Europe and I loaded MorphOS onto one of them before shipment.
I have a 1.42 GHz iBook and it is fine for my uses, the 1.67 PB is our best supported laptop.
Linux hardware requirements are no where near as high as common commercial OS', since my slower hardware runs Linux fine I can't see why the faster hardware would not do the same.
